100 in 2014 List

If you are a list maker like me, you are going to love this new printable that I created.  I designed a 100 in 2014 List for you to fill out with 100 things that you wanted to do in 2014.

I am not going to lie, coming up with 100 things to do in 2014 can be challenging.  I had to fill my list out in short spurts, lol.  But I finally finished it and have already checked a few of them off the list.  Yay!  I keep my list in my Filofax next to my goals for the season.  (I will share that printable with you at a later time).

But once the creative ideas start flowing, it is fun thinking of things that you would like to accomplish or try for the first time.  The list can be made of adventures to try or used for personal goals.  My list is a hodgepodge of both, I have going for a hot air balloon ride, attending a sushi making class, take daily walks, making more time for my spouse and exploring more of Colorado.

I hope that it has given you an example of how to create your 100 in 2014 List.  Even more, I hope that you accomplish everything that you write down on your list.

Best of Luck and Remember to Have Fun with it!  Life is meant to be enjoyed!

Winnie the Pooh’s Birthday {Free Printables}

poohbdayparty

It is Winnie the Pooh’s Birthday!  In honor of the most famous honey loving bear, I decided to throw him a party.  Well, an early birthday party because his actual birthday is January 18.  Growing up, I love reading A.A. Milne books of Christopher Robin and the Adventures of Ashwood Forest with all of the lovable characters.  Winnie the Pooh always had a special place in my heart and still does.  I have so many wonderful and treasured memories that contain that yellow bear.  In fact, I catch my self still singing… (more…)

Awakening the Creative Person

This year is the year of  awakening the creative person inside of me.  She has been dormant for way to long.  I mean, I have a craft nook and lots of craft supplies, might as well use them and explore my creativity again.  Right?  This post is about my top favorite three things to help me be more creative for myself and the blog.  The three things that I love and find joy in are my…

1.  My Original A5 Patent Purple Filofax

I love everything about it because I love stationary and paper planning.  I love decorating the weekly pages and writing my schedule and ideas in bright and fun colors.  Even the button is shiny and pretty.  I love the smell of the leather and that it lays flat when I open it.  It was worth the wait for it.  It took a month to have it shipped to me.  🙁  The best thing about it is, that it helps me free my mind up.  Because I can dump all of the things that are circling my head of my need to dos and gotta get it dones and have to be heres into one place.  {Free up the mind!}

2.  Washi Tape

I love washi tape.   I love all of the cute designs and colors that are available.  Washi tape is so fun to play with and quickly add color to a boring sheet of paper, it instantly brightens the page up.  It makes it more festive.  I started with two rolls for the kids birthday party last year and now I have over 60 rolls.  I might need an intervention soon.  True story, I decorated a mini Christmas tree with all of the rolls of washi tape for my craft room.  🙂

3.  Staedtler 0.3 mm Pens

These pens make me extremely happy!  I love holding the triangular barrel and the fine tip in which they write my words.  They don’t smudge on the paper.  I just wish the ten pack came with a purple pen.  Because purple is my favorite color, if you couldn’t tell.  Lol.  Seriously, these pens are the best to doodle with or write down a quick and happy note to somebody.

There you have it.  My three favorite things to help awaken my creativity.  I plan on doing a post on how I use my Filofax and how I decorated it.  You won’t want to miss that post.  It is going to be a fun one.  I have lots of printables to offer with it too.
