Staying Organized {Free Printable}

Staying Organized {Free Printable}

As a stay at home mom that home-schools and runs this blog and juggles a ton of other activities outside the home.  I have a long list of things that I have to do each week.  I am a visual person, I need to look at a calendar to see what needs to be done for the week.  With that said, I need a planner to help me to stay organized.  I use a Filofax A5 Original Organizer/ Planner to keep me in line.  But the inserts they provide with the organizer just weren’t working for me.

I have used many different weekly inserts for my Filofax that didn’t work out for me.  I knew that they weren’t working for me because I lost my productivity and wondered around in a haze because I need to see what I have to do for the week.  I tried to keep it all straight in my head but many things got overlooked and forgotten about.  Truth of the matter, I stopped using my Filofax because I didn’t like the weekly inserts that were suppose to keep me on track.

Since I am not Superwoman, I had to get creative and figure out exactly what I needed to make my life easier.  I created and tweaked some inserts and wrote my appointments in them to see if they would work for me and my lifestyle.  Revision after revision, I am finally happy with what I designed.  Now, hopefully my home and work life can be balanced again.

Staying organized with this is an ongoing process that I battle with on a daily basis.  However, I think I can manage it especially with my trusty Filofax by my side.  What tips do you have that you use to stay organized?

  1. I LOVE the printable! This is going to make an awesome paper saver, and there is plenty of white space!!

  2. I love lists, calendars and printables! I am very visual and love checking off boxes and crossing off appointments. 🙂 Pinning!
