Walmart has Gluten Free Foods for Less

Last week after running some errands,  I happened to need a few things from Walmart.  Yes, I went to Walmart on a Saturday in the middle of the afternoon.  Surprisingly, it wasn’t that busy.  While enjoying some child-free shopping and wondering every square inch of the store.  I found myself in front of a vendor display with samples to taste.  The lady in charge of the display said that they were Gluten Free burritos by Udi’s.

Walmart has Gluten Free Foods for Less.Having lived in Colorado and passing by the Udi’s store on I-25, I was familiar with the brand but had never tasted it before.  Of course, I had to seize the opportunity and try it out.  It was actually really tasty.  I was surprised.  My taste buds couldn’t tell that it was Gluten Free.  It tasted like a normal Chicken and Cheddar burrito to me.  A good one to be exact.

I am familiar with the Gluten Free diet as several of my family members have been diagonised with Celiac Disease.  As a result they have to adhere to a very strict GF diet.   But I haven’t exactly tried the Gluten Free line of foods out there for myself.  So I made sure to taste all of the different displays that Walmart had a tasting station of that day.  There were four set up.  All four of the products were good and tasty.  The Udi’s pizza was awesome!   So next time you need to pick up a few Gluten Free items, head over to Walmart and save yourself some money and time.
